WestMoonint on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, officially launches a new type of PVC or acrylic processing aid and acrylic impact modifier, ACVM, which is more efficient and cost-effective than traditional PVC processing aid or acrylic processing aid dose. ACVM, which is used as an alternative of traditional PVC processing aid or acrylic processing aid, enable to be applicable in various PVC sheet, pipe, transparent products, wire and cable materials processing, etc.

ACVM was researched and developed jointly by WestMoonint partnered universities, which has 7 grades, being applicable in PVC injection molding, adhesives, paints lubricating, fusion; rigid PVC and semi rigid PVC lubricating, fusion, and impacting for high strength products, etc.

ACVM offers numerous superiorities over traditional PVC or acrylic processing aid and acrylic impact modifier. ACVM is better than traditional PVC processing aid in terms of PVC plasticity. It could enhance the compression strength and resilience in the application of PVC flame-retardant and insulation products, solving the flaccid problem of products with PVC as processing aid during summer.

ACVM also uses less dosage than traditional PVC processing aid but are brighter than traditional PVC processing aid dose; therefore there is less possibility of spots occurred in ACVM than traditional PVC processing aid dose. And it offers better liquidity but less power consumption than traditional PVC processing aid or acrylic processing aid when extruding products, thus ACVM could enhance productivity.

ACVM consumes less lubricant dosage than traditional PVC processing aid or acrylic processing aid when being applicable in extruding PVC pipes.
